Thanks for the warm welcome!
I had a splendid time in Zermatt this year, where I finally managed to fulfill my Zinalrothorn dream.
Going back to flat Berlin, where I live and work at the moment, I decided to start building a website to document the side of Zermatt I love.
Every time I get out on hike or ski trails, I meet a lot of people I can share some of my local knowledge with. Stuff they don't really find anywhere else, like random historical facts, stories about places and people, special hikes and ski trails. I believe that if you involve people emotionally and have them relate to human beings instead of the number of 4000er they see, they will go home with stronger memories and something to tell to the people they know. I figured I might as well extend the reach of that missioning work by doing a website.
It's still pretty much a draft with the basic structure and the articles I am planing to write if I get enough spare time to.
Also I am playing a lot with google earth at the moment. Have you checked it out? Zermatt is quite impressive in there and it has a lot of potential for guides and reviews.
Anyway check out the draft I did with iWeb and tell me if anyone is interested in any form of contribution, collaboration or feedback.

Hope to see you soon in Zermatt
