Buying Ski Boots in Zermatt vs buying and bringing from UK

Can anyone give me some advise if it is better to buy ski boots in UK and then bring to Zermatt or to buy in Zermatt? I am coming to Zermatt for the first time and need to buy some ski boots and will be spending a few days in London prior to arriving to Zermatt.
