I am an American who is looking to work in Zermatt this upcoming season. I have been to Zermatt in the past for ski holidays and fell in love with the place. I am starting a new job in the states in the beginning of April 2010 and would love to try to work an entire winter season in Zermatt before that job starts. I realize I will need to somehow get a work Visa from the Swiss consulate in America in order to be able to work legally. I am trying to start a thread to see if anyone knows of any available jobs for this upcoming season. I am looking at anything from dishwasher to bartender to chalet host. All the British holiday employment companies require a UK passport [which I do not have]. I have a decent command of the German language and really have my heart set on working only in Zermatt and not at any of the other Swiss or French ski towns. Any help would be greatly apprecieted.
