Family Friendly Restaurants on the Mountain?

I am coming to Zermatt with my 3 teenage children and am looking for advise on family friendly restaurants on the mountain. Budget is not an issue.
Any advise.
Also, I have been told numerous times that I need reservations for lunch on the mountain. Is this true? I am not looking for the small gourmet restaurants.

There is a family friendly restaurant just above Zermatt called Olympia. The food and service is excellent and it is great as just a restaurant or an apres-ski bar.

Also at Riffelberg above Zermatt there is the Riffelberg Hotel, with a restaraunt, good quality food and there is also the Riffelberg Restaraunt with a veranda and buffet.
