Zermatt-Talk Forum Rules - PLEASE READ THROUGHLY

Welcome to the ZERMATT-TALK forum.

We rely on you, the visitor, to help keep this board enjoyable for all.
Please report all violations of the rules below to Zermatt-Talk Administration, (just PM Admin) Moderators do not read every post, so please do not expect intervention unless you personally report the problem. Thanks for your cooperation.

BY POSTING HERE YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING FORUM RULES:

1. You will not start a new topic (i.e. hit the "new topic" button) if the topic already exists. Always search for an existing topic to reply to, and only start a new one if you are sure the topic hasn't been discussed recently. (Search engine link is on the TOP RIGHT corner of every board page)

2. You will post your topic on the correct board. With hundreds of messages posted every day, it is necessary to have several boards dedicated to the more popular conversation topics. Please think about which board your topic belongs in before posting your message.

3. You will be tolerant and respectful of your fellow visitors. Criticism of ideas and opinions is welcome, but you may not attack other members in any way. You will find every opinion imaginable here, so you may want to find another board if you are not able to keep your cool when someone's viewpoint offends you.

4. Your message must add something of substance to the discussion. One-liners, list topics, and other "spammy" messages are not welcome.

5. You can send all suggestions, complaints, compliments, etc. to the Admin, (use PM please)
If applicable, please include a link to the topic in question so the Admin does not have to search for it. Messages of this nature posted on the boards will be ignored and deleted.

6. You will not use the board to advertise any product. Anyone caught posting unsolicited advertising on the board, or through private messages will be banned and reported to their internet service provider and/or site host. You may provide one discreet link to your site in your signature as long as it's clear you are genuinely interested in contributing to the conversation.

7. Your signature image will not exceed 400x250 pixels For those unfamiliar with pixels, they are roughly half a millimetre in size. Images wider than 400 pixels will stretch the screen out to the side too far on many monitors.

8. You will remember this is a family-oriented site with many young visitors. This board is not an appropriate place for sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or vulgar discussions.

9. You will not confuse the message board with a search engine. Zermatt-Talk is intended for discussion about Zermatt. Do not use it to get other people to find information you could easily find yourself on a search engine such as Google.com.

All these rules are necessary and have been created to provide a forum for talking and discussion about Zermatt.

Anyone who repeatedly violate these rules, intentionally or not, will be permanently banned from viewing or posting on zermatt-talk.com. All topics and/or messages that violate these rules will be deleted or locked on sight. Please do not post here at all if you disagree with anything in this message.
