Question Looking for particular restaurant

About 17 years ago I was fortunate enough to do some skiing in Zermatt. One evening myfriends and I went to a small casual restaurant in the middle of the village. Once inside, you could have a meal on the main floor or you could go downstairs, down a small staircase with a rope for a hand rail, where they were serving raclette. The smell of cheese almost knocked me out halfway down the stairs, but I quickly adjusted and had the best raclette experience in my life.

I am planning to go back to Zermatt this summer but I can not remember the name of this restaurant.

Can anyone help me to identify this restaurant? Thank you!!!

Hi Blewyn. I appreciated your response regarding the "WhymperStubli." For sure I will look for this place when I get to Zermatt, probably early July 2010. If I see you there I would be happy to buy you a bier!
